Mohamad brings 24 years of expertise in tax strategy development, compliance, consulting, and policy formulation. He led the KPMG Jeddah Tax practice for 9 months and previously headed the indirect tax practice at PwC Jeddah, where he played a senior role in indirect tax litigation across the Middle East.
Earlier in his career, Mohamad worked with EY Beirut, delivering tax compliance and consulting services. At the Lebanese Ministry of Finance, he held key leadership positions, including Head of the Risk Department and Head of the Objections Division for large taxpayers.
Notably, in 2002, he contributed to the introduction of VAT in Lebanon and was instrumental in drafting several significant tax laws and regulations, including VAT laws, tax procedures legislation, and petroleum taxation frameworks.
